  • Applies technical knowledge gained through education and experience to safely optimize synthetic organic chemistry processes for scale up into large glassware (50 liter Kilolab) and pilot plant
  • Experienced in, or willing to learn, operation of Kilolab equipment to prepare pharmaceutical intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs)
  • Assists with maintenance and operation of bench-scale equipment  including Kilolab reactors, rotary evaporators and hydrogenation reactors
  • Assumes ownership of assigned tasks and works independently to meet aggressive timelines

  • Coordinate the timely and compliant generation of data to support client projects

  • Participate in ongoing equipment maintenance and qualification

  • May also perform FTIR, KF, NMR, PSD, and XRD analysis using GMP test methods
